Alcovy’s CeCe Williams is formally heading to play softball at Georgia Highlands.
On Friday, Williams signed her letter of intent in entrance of household, mates, coaches and teammates in a signing ceremony held within the Tigers’ auditorium.
Following the signing, Williams shared what feelings she felt on the day.
“I’m simply so excited, I can’t wait to go up there and begin a brand new chapter of life,” Williams stated. “This system is admittedly nice so I’m very excited to go up there.”
In accordance with Williams, the setting of each the campus and the workforce are what led her to signal with the Chargers.

As a Woman Tigers, Williams was a part of a category that helped propel the Alcovy softball program to new heights.
Williams was part of a Woman Tigers workforce that went undefeated in area play in back-to-back seasons in 2022-23 and 2023-24.
As a junior, Williams helped the Woman Tigers clinch a spot in Columbus for the state playoffs.
That journey to Columbus additionally offered Williams’ all-time favourite second as a Woman Tiger.
“My favourite second was hitting a house run in state,” Williams stated. “That was my favourite second of highschool, hitting the house run in Columbus.”
