ATLANTA – A Delta Air Strains flight headed to Tucson was pressured to return to Atlanta on Tuesday after an onboard incident involving a buyer prompted the crew to show again about an hour into the journey.
What we all know:
Delta Flight 937, which departed Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Worldwide Airport for Tucson, Arizona, on July 16, carried 180 passengers, two pilots, and 4 flight attendants. The flight returned to Atlanta after what a Delta spokesperson described as a deescalated scenario onboard.
Upon the flight’s return, the client concerned exited the plane and was met by emergency medical personnel. Regulation enforcement was notified of the incident, although the person was not taken into custody.
The flight later resumed its journey and arrived in Tucson roughly two hours and 45 minutes not on time.
