DEKALB COUNTY, GA—As commencement nears, the DeKalb County College District is honoring 20 scholar athletes exiting their highschool eras as standouts— valedictorians/salutatorians within the Class of 2025.
Eleven of the 20 athletes are graduating as valedictorians and 9 as salutatorians.
Miller Grove Excessive’s valedictorian, Saniya Francis, is a softball and monitor star. In the course of the fall, Francis was a part of the Wolverine softball group that made historical past for the college by reaching the Elite Eight of the Class 2A State Softball Match. Francis completed her monitor profession on the Class 2A State Observe and Subject Championships by capturing the gold medal within the discus.
