Voices for Rockdale takes on its first Undertake-A-Mile litter cleanup mission – On Frequent Floor Information


ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA—A crew of volunteers with Voices for Rockdale picked up litter in the neighborhood, formally kicking off its first Undertake-A-Mile mission on Feb. 18.

The group joined the Metropolis of Conyers’ Undertake-A-Mile program this yr, agreeing to choose up litter within the Pine Log/Rowland Street space 4 occasions a yr. Corliss Turner, founding father of Voices for Rockdale, mentioned the clean-up initiative is an effective method for residents to become involved in the neighborhood and present assist and delight. 

The Metropolis of Conyers offers the rubbish luggage, pickup sticks, gloves, and vests for the occasion. 

9 volunteers participated with Voices for Rockdale’s first cleanup occasion, held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
